Na konkurs Međunarodnog festivala animiranog filma BANJALUKA 2020, ukupno je pristiglo 567 filmova iz 39 država svijeta. Selekciona komisija odabrala je 48 filmova u takmičarski program, 12 u dječiji takmičarski program i 27 u program panorama.

Najviše animiranih filmova pristiglo je iz Francuske, Poljske, Rusije, Španije i Njemačke.
